Chapter Highlight: Wisconsin EVA's EV Road Trip

The Wisconsin EVA hosted an EV Road Trip throughout the state to highlight the abilities of EVs, the sponsors of the event, and the cool sights to not miss all around the state. The event started in Madison, WI at 8:30 on the morning on August 9th. Members drove counterclockwise around the state, stopping at various “checkpoints” in different towns. At each checkpoint, the EV driver and all passengers (or fellow drivers) took pictures near something that displays the logo or presence of the business that is sponsoring that location.

The group then posted their picture to as many social media accounts as they have, tagging the business in the post. Once they finished, they simply drove to the next checkpoint. On the evening of August 9th, each car participated in a free car show for the people of the Wausau area. On the morning of the 10th, they continued around the state. The event concluded back in Madison with a wrap up ceremony. A great way to showcase EVs to people all over Wisconsin!
